LAS VEGAS (Dunya News) - Pakistan's gaming prodigy Arslan 'Ash' Siddique has secured his sixth Evolution Championship Series (EVO) title by winning the Tekken 8 tournament at EVO 2025, held at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

The Pakistani star, a dominant force in the competitive Tekken scene, previously won the Tekken 7 tournament at EVO Japan 2019, EVO USA 2019, EVO Japan 2023, and two additional EVO titles, with a third-place finish at EVO 2022.

His latest victory came against fellow Pakistani Atif Butt, a former teammate from Ash’s own esports team, in an intense final.

The EVO 2025 final saw Ash, playing as Nina Williams, triumph over Butt, who used Anna Williams - sister characters in the Tekken franchise.

EVO celebrated the moment on X, calling it 'greatness on another level.' Ash expressed his gratitude, saying, “I feel incredibly blessed and remain grateful in victory,” as quoted by EVO.

His esports club, Saudi Arabia’s Twisted Minds, hailed him as the 'undisputed GOAT of Tekken,' adding, 'Six-time EVO champion. The right path to achieving the World Cup, God willing.”

In an Instagram post, Ash reflected, “Six EVO titles. From a kid grinding in gaming arcades to this moment—I never imagined this. Thank you to everyone who believed in me. This is for Pakistan.”

Runner-up Atif Butt, who also finished second in the previous year’s EVO final, shared his thoughts: “I’m still processing being runner-up again, just like last year. Thank you all for your support.” Japan’s Yuta “Chikurin” Take took third place.

EVO, the world’s largest fighting game tournament, draws top players globally to Las Vegas for fierce competition, and Ash’s sixth title solidifies his legacy as a Tekken legend.
