Juergen Klinsmann made his debut for the US mens national team as they managed a 1-1 draw with rival Mexico in a friendly in Philadelphia.Klinsmann had talked about implementing a new attacking style with aggressive midfield play but it was Mexico that struck first when Oribe Peralta tallied in the 17th minute for a 1-0 lead.The former German national team coach continued to patrol the sideline with encouragement and finally got a result when second half substitute Robbie Rogers scored into a wide open net in the 73rd minute to make it 1-1.Playing less than two months after Mexicos come from behind 4-2 victory over the U.S. in the Gold Cup final that sealed former U.S. coach Bob Bradleys fate, Klinsmann had just three practices with his new squad before the match.
