British embassy refuses visa to Salman Butt

The British embassy in Islamabad has refused visa to former Pakistan Test captain Salman Butt.

According to sources, the British embassy in Islamabad refused visa to former Pakistan Test captain Salman Butt who was suspended by the International Cricket Council in spot-fixing case. The embassy sources said that it was too early to issue a visa as next hearing of the spot-fixing case was scheduled for October.The former Pakistan Test captain Salman Butt missed the current hearing of the case in London as his visa was expired on July 11.
