The hosts West Indies face an uphill task against visiting India in the Kingston Test.

India will resume their second innings on the third day at 91 runs for the loss of three wickets. At the stumps on the second day at the Sabina Park, India extended their lead to 164 runs with seven wickets intact.Mukund made 25 runs in India’s second innings while Murali Vijay and VV Luxman were out without opening their account. Rahul Dravid was not out with 45 runs.Earlier, West indies were bundled out for 173 runs in their first innings in reply to India’s first innings total of 236 runs.
