The world's best BMX riders and skateboards flew high in the heart of New York's Times Square.

The BMX and skateboard athletes showed off their skills on a 195-foot long mega ramp in New Yorks iconic Times Square.With every fast-moving, high-flying stunt, these extreme athletes wowed the crowd of onlookers in New York City.It was called Air in the Square and it was sports competition arranged by the Madison Square Garden (MSG) Company which just launched MSG Action Sports. MSG Action Sports is a new division of MSG Sports that will target a younger and more active audience with extreme sports programming.After about an hour of head-to-head bike battles on a ramp that featured a 25 foot high roll-in ramp and a 14 foot high quarter pipe, the judges named Colton Satterfield as the winner.Champion BMXer Ryan Nyquist said there is nothing like performing in Times Square.
