Clijsters pulls out of Wimbledon

Belgian Kim Clijsters seeded No. 2 withdrew from Wimbledon because of a foot injury.

Kim Clijsters on Wednesday announced that she had to pull out of the grass-court Grand Slam after injuring her right foot at the Unicef Open in the Netherlands on Tuesday. The third grand slam of the year, Wimbledon would start next week in London. Kim Clijsters is also a four time grand slam winner.
