Pakistan A successfully chased 274 runs to defeat Afghanistan in the third ODI in Faisalabad.

Pakistan A scored 278 runs in 48 over to beat Afghanistan by four wickets while chains 274 in the third and last match to sweep the unofficial ODI series. Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bat in the match played the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. Afghanistan scored a total of 274 runs at the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Noor Ali Zadran scored 51 and Karim Sadiq scored 41 while Shabir Noori scored 31 runs. For Pakistan, Yasir Shah took three wickets while Sadaf Hussain took two. Pakistan was off to a good start as their first wicket fell just a couple runs short of 50 runs. Sarfraz Ahmed scored 61 runs and Saad Nasim scored 50 runs while Sharjeel Khan scored 44 runs to successfully chase the total. Samiullah Shenwari and Mohammad Nabi took two wickets each for Afghanistan. Sarfraz Ahmed won the man of the match award. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ijaz Butt came to see the match but left without talking to the media.
