Pakistan Champions Cricket league kicks off

The Champions Cricket League started with an exhibition match between Showbiz XI and Karachi XI.

The Pakistan T20 Champions Cricket League kicked off at the Rashif Latif cricket academy ground in Karachi as former city mayor Syed Mustafa Kamal hit the ball. A total of 32 teams participating in the T20 Champions Cricket League would be divided into eight groups of four teams and two teams from each group would qualify for the knock-out stages. The winning team will be awarded Rupees one million.The first match of the tournament will be played on April 25 between Airport Gymkhana and Faisal Gymkhana. A total of 63 matches would be played in the event.
