IPL: Kings XI record big win against Rajasthan Royals

In the 23rd match of the Indian Premiere League, Kings XI Punjab beat Rajasthan Royals by 48 runs.

In the match, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and invited the Kings XI to bat first as they scored a total of 196 runs in the 20 overs at the cost of seven wickets.Shaun Marsh knocked a terrific 71 off just 42 balls while the opener, Paul Valthaty scored 46 runs. Shaun Tait took three wickets while Shane Watson took two.Rajasthan Royals were off to a poor start. Openers Swapnil Asnodkar and Rahul Dravid were boweld out for nine and eight runs respectively. Shane Watson scored 24 runs and Stuart Binny scored 30 as the Rajasthan XI could only muster up 147 in 20 over.In today’s matches, Kolkata Knight Riders will take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore while the Mumbai Indians will face Kings XI Punjab.
