Indian hockey team likely to tour Pakistan, Asif Bajwa

The Indian hockey tour was being delayed due to the political tension between the two countries.

Indian Hockey Federation Secretary Narinder Batra contacted Pakistan Hockey Federation Secretary Asif Bajwa to discuss the prospects of India-Pak hockey series.In an exclusive interview with Dunya News, Bajwa said that the Indian hockey team would tour Pakistan at the end of this year just before the Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy.He said that the Indian hockey tour to Pakistan was being delayed due to the political tension but after the Cricket World Cup semi-final, the relations between the two countries were improving. He said that the Pakistan hockey team could also visit India for a series.
