Serena Williams all set to return to professional tennis
The 36-year-old will participate in next month's Australian Open.
MELBOURNE (Dunya News) – Serena Williams, 23-time grand slam champion, is all set to return to professional tennis in next month’s Australian Open.
The tournament director Craig Tiley has confirmed Serena’s participation in the event, and told that the 36-year-old has also obtained visa in this regard. Williams recently announced on social media that she has started training again.
It is worth mentioning here that Serena Williams’ last competitive tournament was 2017’s Australian Open and she is the defending champion as well.

The tennis star took a break afterwards as she came to know during the tournament that she was pregnant, and gave birth to a daughter named Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. on September 1, 2017.
