Spot-fixing: Aitzaz Ahsan to represent Salman in ICC hearing
Pakistan former captain Salman Butt has sought the services of renowned lawyer Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan to represent his case in the ICC hearing scheduled for January in Doha. Salman Butt, along with pace bowlers Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Asif, were suspended by ICC for spot-fixing and their hearing will take place in January. Salman Butt had initially got the services of former cricketer turned lawyer Aftab Gul who had declined to represent the cricketer later. Gul had said that ICC had made up its mind and would not in any case allow the players to play. The lawyer said he would make public facts that would prove that the ICC and the PCB had already decided about the future of the players.
