Asian Games hockey: Pakistan beats Malaysia by 2-0 in final
Pakistan has defeated Malaysia by 2-0 in the final of the hockey event of the Asian Games to grab the gold medal , Dunya News reported on Thursday. First goal was scored by Sohail Abbas on a penalty corner while the second goal was scored by Rehan Butt. Earlier Pakistan had won the semi-final against South Korea in the sudden death round by 4-3. Pakistan has won the title after a lapse of 20 years whereas Malaysia had reached the final of the event for the first time.
