Maria Sharapova eased into the French Open third round with a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
PARIS (AFP) - Defending champion Maria Sharapova eased into the French Open third round on Wednesday with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Russian Fed Cup teammate Vitalia Diatchenko.
Second seed Sharapova will face Australia s Samantha Stosur, the 2010 runner-up, for a place in the last 16.
