Overdose' lands Capriati in hospital

Tennis star Jennifer Capriati is being treated in hospital after a suspected drugs overdose, it emerged yesterday. The former Wimbledon semi-finalist's family said she had accidentally taken too much of the medication prescribed by her doctor. Her dad, Stefano Capriati, said that Jennifer, 34, was now doing well. The American star, who has battled with substance abuse in the past, was rushed to hospital from a hotel in Riverbeach, Florida. She made her professional debut aged 13 and by 16 had earned more than $1million. But she then took a break from tennis and her life went out of control. Her problems led to a spell in a drug rehab clinic but she won three Grand Slams after making a comeback.
