RugbyU: World Cup blow for Scotland centre Dunbar

Subsequent hospital scan revealed the extent of damage, ruling Dunbar out of the rest of the season
LONDON (AFP) - Scotland centre Alex Dunbar will be sidelined for up to nine months after rupturing the cruciate ligament in his knee, the Scottish Rugby Union announced on Thursday.
The 24-year-old Glasgow player sustained the injury during training as Scotland prepared for their Six Nations encounter with England at Twickenham on Saturday, in which he was due to start.
A subsequent hospital scan revealed the extent of the damage, ruling Dunbar out of the rest of the season and seriously jeopardising his chances of competing in this year s World Cup in England, which starts in September.
