Court orders registration of case against Asif

A local court issued orders for registration of a case against fast bowler Mohammed Asif on issuing fake cheques to actress Veena Malik on Tuesday. Veena in her plea before the sessions court Lahore said that Asif borrowed around Rs10 million from her and gave two fake cheques to her, which turned out to be fake. Sessions Judge Khalid Bashir ordered the police to register case against the cricketer and informed the court. Also, the civil court restrained Veena from using the said cheques and summoned Asif on April 24 for reply, besides directing the former not to harass the latter regarding the issue.
