QFA to promote Pakistan football

PFF and QFA have agreed upon the promotion and development of football in Pakistan.

 

LAHORE (Online) - Qatar Football Association would provide technical and professional assistance to Pakistan for the promotion of game of football.

 

This was said by the President Qatar Football Association (QFA) Hamad Khalifa Al- Thani, which called on him Makhdoom Faisal Salah Hayat, President Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) at Football House here.

 

During the meeting PFF and QFA agreed upon establishing a long term partnership for the promotion and development of football in Pakistan. QFA also agreed to provide support to PFF in youth development, training of coaches and development of women football.

 

It was also agreed that training and professional facilities to the Pakistan National Team would be made available in Qatar as and when required. QFA would also assist PFF in up grading its infrastructure and allied facilities vital to the development of football in Pakistan.

 

The close and fraternal bilateral relations between PFF and QFA were further strengthened as a result of this first ever visit of QFA delegation.

 

The President PFF lauded the efforts of QFA and the state of Qatar in bringing the prestigious FIFA World Cup to the brotherly State of Qatar in 2022.

 

He further emphasized that this historic World Cup 2022 would prove to be a much needed stimulus for the entire region in taking Soccer to new heights of development.
