Sachin Tendulkar top scored with 46. Captain Daniel Vettori top scored for New Zealand with 25 before they were dismissed for 155 in the 47th over. Fast bowler Ashish Nehra took three for 24 while allrounder Yuvraj Singh had three for 31 from 10 overs of left-arm spin. Vettori was also the pick of New Zealand's bowlers, taking two for 33 from 10. India became the first team in 12 attempts stretching back to October 2007 to win at the venue when batting second. India play Sri Lanka today and again in Monday's final. New Zealand needed to win last night to stay alive after being beaten by 97 runs by Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
