US, KP govts ink pact to set up FM radio station

About 24 FM radio stations will be established with the help of the US across Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa.

The US government will provide technical assistance to improve their managerial, operational and production capabilities. These radio stations will be run with the involvement of local communities to bring their problems to limelight. The agreement was inked on Monday by the US and Pakistani officials.Khyber Pakhtunkwa Chief Minister Ameer Hiader Khan Hoti and acting US Consul General at Peshawar were also present on the occasion.
