Lawyers hijack Shahbaz's Sargodha ceremony

Protesting lawyers hijacked ceremony of laptop distribution by CM Punjab in Sargodha University.

Chief Mister Punjab was set to distribute laptops among the students of Sargodha University. Before the start of the ceremony a large convoy of lawyers, while holding black flags in their hands, entered into the ground and forcibly climbed up the stage.They occupied the stage and chanted slogans against the CM Punjab.Lawyers also tortured some N-league workers.During this scuffle was witnessed between lawyers and the University staff. Students and PML-N workers also raised slogans and waved shoes towards the lawyers.Enraged lawyers were of the view that CM Punjab is creating hurdles in establishment of Sargodha bench of Lahore High Court.Vice Chancellor Sargodha University Chaudhry Akram tried to satisfy lawyers but all went in vain. The vice chancellor said that lawyers record their protest but refrain from disturbing students’ ceremony.Heavy contingents of police were called after lawyers occupied the stage and the venue for the ceremony.
