PPP-Sherpao leader Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao narrowly escaped a bomb blast in Kangra Road, Charsadda.

According to the police, a suicide bomber targeted the convoy of Pakistan Peoples Party-Sherpao Chairman Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao in Kangra area of Charsadda, wounding at least five people including MPA Muhammad Ali while one policeman killed but leaving the politician unharmed.Police sources said that former interior minister Aftab Khan Sherpao was not injured in attack attack.Sherpao was passing through the district of Charsadda when the attacker blew himself up near his vehicle.Sherpao supervised operations against the Pakistani Taliban during the tenure of former President Pervez Musharraf. The Taliban vowed to kill him, and he has been the target of at least two bomb attacks in recent years.
