Zardari authorised OBL operation: Mansoor Ijaz

Mansoor Ijaz has said that President Asif Ali Zardari gave approval of Abbottabad operation.

Talking to media in London before the memo commission meeting, Mansoor Ijaz said that President Asif Ali Zardai knew about Abbottabad operation and he telephoned Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani that the operation is being carried out with his consent.Mansoor further said that the F-16 planes were ready to counter any operation but president Zardari advised COAS not to retaliate the operation.Judicial Commission headed by Faiz Isa has resumed hearing of memo issue at Islamabad High Court.The central figure in the memo scandal, Mansoor Ijaz, is appearing before the commission via video link from Pakistan High Commission in London while lawyers have started cross-examination of Mansoors testimony.
