Summary Pakistan’s Security Forces killed 49 terrorists in intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, targeting terrorist networks, ISPR said.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s security forces, in coordination with police, have killed 49 terrorists in a series of intelligence-based joint operations conducted across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
ISPR said the operations were carried out over the past few days as part of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign aimed at dismantling terrorist networks and eliminating threats to peace and stability.
According to the military’s media wing, 12 terrorists belonging to what it described as the Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Khwarij were killed during multiple intelligence-based operations in Bannu, North Waziristan, Orakzai and Khyber districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A large quantity of explosives, IED detonating devices, weapons, ammunition and motorcycles was recovered and destroyed during the operations, ISPR said.

The security forces also recovered and destroyed a significant quantity of weapons, explosive drums and remote-detonation equipment during the operations, according to ISPR.
The military’s media wing said sanitisation operations were underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists found in the areas.
“Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers,” ISPR said, adding that the counterterrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, would continue at full pace.
ISPR said the campaign would continue until the threat of what it described as foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism was eliminated from the country.
