MULTAN (Dunya News) – The district administration has declared July 22 a local public holiday across Multan to mark the 787th annual Urs of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya Multani (RA).
According to a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Dr Faisal Saleem, all government offices, public institutions and district offices in Multan will remain closed on July 22.
The notification said the local holiday has been announced in view of the annual Urs celebrations, enabling devotees and residents to participate in the religious events with ease.
