ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday directed authorities to ensure the timely completion of all nationally significant development projects, stressing that high-quality execution is essential to promote public welfare, create jobs and achieve sustainable economic growth.
The prime minister issued the directives during a meeting with Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal, who briefed him on the progress of ongoing development projects across the country and schemes being implemented under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).

Ahsan Iqbal also updated the prime minister on the implementation status of ongoing projects and outlined the government's future development plans.
Shehbaz Sharif said the timely completion of development projects remains one of the government's top priorities, emphasizing that projects of national importance should be completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining the highest standards.
He also directed all relevant ministries and institutions to strengthen coordination and accelerate the pace of implementation so that the public can benefit from development initiatives as early as possible.
The meeting also reviewed various aspects of national development and discussed future development priorities and targets.
