Summary Sardar Muhammad Hussain announced his withdrawal in favour of Maulana Saeed Yousaf
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has withdrawn in favour of the hopeful of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) ahead of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) general elections to be held on July 27.
Faryal Talpur, central president of the Pakistan Peoples Party Women's Wing and in-charge of political affairs of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, met with Maulana Saeed Yousaf, emir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Azad Kashmir, at Zardari House, Islamabad.
Sardar Muhammad Hussain, Minister for Ushr, Zakat and Social Welfare of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan Peoples Party's nominated candidate from LA-23, was also present during the meeting.

In the meeting, Sardar Muhammad Hussain announced his withdrawal from the LA-23 election in favour of Maulana Saeed Yousaf, as per the party decision.
On this occasion, Maulana Saeed Yousuf thanked the Pakistan Peoples Party leadership for Sardar Muhammad Hussain's withdrawal and announcement of his support.
Chaudhry Riaz, senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Jammu and Kashmir, was also present in the meeting.
