LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said Pakistan and the United States are together on the journey of peace, trust and shared development.
Addressing a ceremony held at Huzuri Bagh here on Saturday on the occasion of the 250th Independence Day of the United States, Marriyum Aurangzeb conveyed congratulations to the American government and people on behalf of the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
He said Pakistan-US relations are based on mutual trust, peace and common interests, while the two countries are promoting cooperation in various sectors including technology, investment, climate change and tourism.
The senior provincial minister said that relations between Pakistan and the United States have strengthened further in recent times and positive progress has been seen between the two countries, with the world recently witnessing a practical demonstration of the power of diplomacy.
Marriyum Aurangzeb further said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir played an important role in establishing global peace and promoting stability in the region, while Pakistan is committed to the policy of peace, development and mutual cooperation.
