Sohail Afridi alleged that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not getting its share of the districts merged in the NFC, and the Punjab government has stopped supplying wheat to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He added that the obstacles in the supply of gas to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by the federal government are extremely worrying. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa produces more than 500 MMCFD of gas, but despite this, the province is being deprived of its rightful share.
The CM alleged that the behaviour of the federal government and the Punjab government is a clear violation of Article 151 and Article 158 of the Constitution, and the federation is treating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa like a stepmother. Senior leaders of PTI and JUI attended the meeting.
