PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A police officer sustained minor injuries in a grenade attack on a police station here on Monday.
According to police, unidentified militants launched a hand grenade attack on Badh Bir Police Station, injuring a police officer.
The injured officer was provided immediate medical assistance. As soon as the incident was reported, police officers arrived at the scene with a heavy contingent.
Police officials said that an investigation into the incident has been launched. A search operation is also being conducted in the area, and the accused will be arrested soon, police said.
Police stepped up security in the area and were collecting forensic evidence to reach out to the criminals.
