ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf to discuss professional matters related to the Pakistan Navy and national security.
According to sources, the meeting focused on maritime defence, professional preparedness and broader national security issues.
Separately, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the reported drone attack on the Barakah nuclear plant in the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, the prime minister said Pakistan stood in complete solidarity with the leadership and people of the UAE.

He urged all parties to exercise restraint and fulfil their responsibilities under international law.
Shehbaz Sharif said diplomacy and dialogue were essential for maintaining peace and stability in the region.
