Punjab government reels amid misappropriations in health and education sectors.

Dunya News on Saturday unearthed a major embezzlement in the Punjab education sector.According to sources, the textbooks supposed to be distributed free to the government schools in Punjab, are being trashed and sold later.Two involved suspects have been arrested and more than 25,000 books have been recovered from their possession.Some of the employees of Punjab Textbook Board are also involved in the scam, sources told Dunya News.The warehouse where the ‘not-for-sale’ seals on these books were being tampered with has been sealed by a CIA team.
