There is no legal restriction on Nawaz Sharif to bar him from contesting general election, Attorney General Pakistan (AGP) Sardar Latif Khosa said on Friday. He was talking to the reporters after the Supreme Court verdict in Nawaz Sharifs favor that allowed Sharif to contest election. Khosa said that President Zardari wanted to abolish 58 (2) B, adding that the nation will hear the good news regarding elimination of the 17th amendment soon. He praised the SC verdict and said that it had strengthened justice. He said that there was no chance of the SCs decision review. There is no hurdle in Nawaz Sharifs way to participate in the politics, he maintained.
