Security sources say 197 terrorists were killed in three days of nationwide anti-terror operations, with 22 security personnel and 36 civilians also losing their lives.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Security sources have confirmed that 197 terrorists linked to Fitna al-Hindustan have been killed during anti-terror operations carried out across the country over the past three days.
According to the sources, the operations were launched in response to heightened militant activity and involved coordinated actions by multiple security agencies. Several follow-up and sanitisation operations are still under way, with officials stating that the campaign will continue until the elimination of the last remaining militant.
The sources said that while defending the country and ensuring the safety of civilians, 22 Pakistani security personnel embraced martyrdom. Those martyred include officers and personnel from the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), police, and the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA).
Security officials further confirmed that 36 innocent civilians were killed as a result of militant violence during the same period. The victims include Baloch civilians, women, and children, underscoring the human cost of the attacks carried out by the banned group.
Authorities maintain that the ongoing operations aim to dismantle terrorist networks, secure affected areas, and prevent further attacks on both civilians and security forces.
