An Islamabad court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi over alleged misleading accusations against state institutions; the case was adjourned until February 10.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The District and Sessions Courts Islamabad issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in a case involving alleged misleading accusations against state institutions and damaging their credibility.
The court ordered that Sohail Afridi be arrested and produced before it after he failed to appear despite summons.
Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah heard the case registered against Sohail Afridi.
Further hearing of the case has been adjourned until February 10.
It is pertinent to note that a case has already been registered against Sohail Afridi by the NCCIA under the PECA Act.
