Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani has stressed the need for efforts on regional and international scales to counter the global issue of terrorism. PM Gilani said that all the conflicts including Kashmir Dispute would have to be resolved for the sustenance of peace in South Asia. Addressing the 15th session of Unassociated Countries Heads Movement in Sharmal Sheikh, PM said that Pakistan was doing its best on national level to uproot terrorism. Terrorism, however, can not be eliminated with just the use of military force. The basic reasons behind terrorism will have to be focused on. Economic progress and solution of the long-lurking political conflicts is quite essential for the sustenance of long term peace, PM said. He added that Pakistan wants friendly relations with the neighboring countries, adding that advancement had taken place in friendly relations with India. He also said that Pakistan was working with Afghan Government for peace in Afghanistan. In the end PM said that the access of goods to the international market would enhance trade and create opportunities for employment.
