Lawyers' strike enters third day

Lawyers are observing countrywide strike against killing of the lawyers in Karachi.

Strike by Pakistan Bar Council, all provincial bar councils and district bar councils has entered in its third day against killing of three lawyers at Pakistan Chowk in Karachi.The legal fraternity boycotted the courts to condemn the killings and demanded immediate arrest of the killers.On Wednesday, four unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle at Pakistan Chowk killing three lawyers and wounding another.The attackers managed to escape from the crime scene, so far, no progress has been made by the police to trace the killers.
