Rabbani tables privilege motion in Senate

Senator Raza Rabbani took action after federal secretaries failed to respond to questions.

During senate session, Chairman Senate Farooq H. Naek said that ministers are neither interested in parliament nor in the ministerial affairs.On the other hand, Senator Raza Rabbani said that ministers mostly remain absent from quorum and available minister cannot respond to the questions during session.While submitting privilege motion against federal secretaries, Rabbani emphasized that Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other ministries have failed to submit replies.Chairman Senate has forward the privilege motion to senate’s standing committee.
