Petition filed against contempt notice to PM

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court, challenging the contempt notice against PM.

Barrister Zafarullah filed a petition in the Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry, challenging the contempt notice served to Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani by a seven-member bench of the Supreme Court in NRO implementation case on Monday.The petitioner stated in his petition that the court should ordered Secretary Law and Law Minister first to submit reply and if they could not satisfy the court then notice served to the PM. He requested the court to declare the notice null and void.
