Karachi: Sub-inspector shot dead outside US consulate

Some unidentified persons shot dead a police sub-inspector on duty at the American Consulate.

According to Police, Sub-inspector Anwar Sheikh was hit by stray bullets when he was on duty at picket No 7 outside American Consulate on the Kolachi Road in Karachi.The dead body of Awar Sheikh has been shifted to Civil Hospital from American Consulate. Police have started investigation and all the officials present on duty at the American Consulate are being interrogated.
