IG Punjab revealed that 3 key persons abducted from Lahore were in custody of one Jihadi group.

In Lahore, Shahbaz Taseer, the son of former Punjab Governor Salman Taseer from Gulberg, US contractor Warren Weinstein from Model Town, and ex-CJCSC Gen Tariq Majeed’s son-in-law Amir Malik from Garder Town were abducted but no clue was found for a long time.IG Punjab Javed Iqbal told Dunya News that low resources was a key hurdle in recovery of the abducted persons. He said that other that heavy ransom, there are certain demands of kidnapper which difficult ti accept.A Counter Terrorism Department has been set up to curb the terrorism.
