President Zardari is expected to return to the country tonight, sources said.

Sources told Dunya News that President Zardari is expected to return to Pakistan tonight, though the exact time of his arrival was not revealed. Sources said the doctors have given permission to the President to travel back to the country.PM Syed Youaf Raza Gilani earlier said that President Zardari could return sooner than expected in order to quell the rumours taking rounds in the country.The PM had also negated any possibility of martial law in the country. “When President Zardari comes back, all rumours would die. The president may return…..before December 27,” the PM had said.Sources said that President Zardari would be aboard a flight to Pakistan tonight in order to put an end to rumours about the memo-gate scandal.President Zardari had left for Dubai unannounced. Later, his spokesman had announced that the President underwent medical checkup at a hospital there.
