KP govt allocates Rs2bn for merged districts

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved Rs2 billion for the merged districts.
Key allocations include Rs15 million for agriculture, Rs1 million for religious affairs, Rs500 million for water and sanitation, and Rs135 million for elementary and secondary education.
Health service will receive Rs300 million, and the home department Rs240 million.
Additional funds include Rs23 million for livestock, Rs18 million for industries, Rs144 million for water resources and Rs 300 million for road infrastructure.
Additionally, Rs3 million have been allocated to the mineral and mines sector, Rs30 million for local government, Rs23 million for livestock and Rs5 million for law and justice.
