Punjab changes school timings for winter season
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The School Education Department has announced new timings for government schools in Punjab for the winter season.
According to the notification issued by the department, schools will now open at 8:45am, with classes ending at 2:45pm. On Friday the schools will close earlier at 12:45pm.
For double-shift schools, the first shift will end at 12:45pm daily, while on Fridays, it will conclude at 12pm.
The second shift will operate from 1pm to 5pm on regular days and from 2pm to 5pm on Fridays.
The teachers will be arriving at schools by 8:30am and will be allowed to leave at 3pm.
