ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has praised the significant contributions by teachers in shaping the future of the nation, and equipping youth with education and valuable knowledge.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad to mark World Teachers' Day on Saturday, he said teachers not only impart knowledge, but also provide essential guidance and wisdom, enabling students to progress in their lives.
He said the government is actively focused on fostering progress and revitalising efforts for national development.

The planning minister said the country is currently on a path of progress, with the stock market reaching an all-time high and inflation being brought under control.
Ahsan Iqbal said the government is facilitating investors and providing a conducive environment for businesses to prosper, which is yielding positive results.
