ECP forms eight election tribunals

Tribunals have been established for Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Rawalpindi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday formed eight election tribunals in Punjab for general and by-elections.
According to a notification issued by the commission, serving and retired judges have been appointed to the election tribunals which will address election petitions for the national and provincial assemblies.
The tribunals include retired judges Rana Zahid Mehmood, Zafar Iqbal, Abdul Shakoor Paracha, and Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa, while serving judges include Lahore High Court's Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed, Muhammad Iqbal, Chaudhry Anwar Hussain, and Justice Sarfraz Dogar.
According to the notification, these tribunals have been established for Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Rawalpindi.
