Azam Swati resigns from JUI, Senate

Jamiat-Ulema-e-Islams Senator Azam Swati has resigned from party membership and Senate seat.

Talking to media after his resignation, Azam Swat said that he didn’t care about his remaining four months tenure as senator and all the senators should resign from Senate. Senate has become ineffective and he couldn’t be a part of this parliament, said Swati. He further said that he had not any differences with party and president’s address to joint session of the parliament was slap on the face of the country.
