No compromise on countrys sovereignty: Hina

Hina Rabbani said that sovereignty and integrity of the country cannot be compromised at any cost.

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said on Saturday that the decision of not to participate in Bonn Conference is a protest launched by Pakistan against the recent NATO attack on its posts.She said government has taken the stand for the sake of country’s sovereignty. She said that the sovereignty and integrity of the country cannot be compromised at any cost.Pakistan cannot play an effective role in an environment in which there is no guarantee of its security and sovereignty from its partners, she added.Hina said national interest was their top most priority.To a question about Pakistan’s withdrawal from the alliance if its demands are not met, she said it is not Pakistan’s intention to work contrary to the whole world but the world itself has to understand that if it has sidelined Pakistan and violated the red line.
