RAWALPINDI/LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Sirajul Haq, and Pakistan Muslim League-N Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed have expressed grief over the death of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh.

In a message on X, JI Emir Hafiz Naeem said Ismail Haniyeh's migration and martyrdom was a dedication towards Allah.

He praised Haniyeh by saying that Hamas chief had fought the cruelest power on earth.

Naeem said Ismail Haniyeh, the lion of Allah, had succeeded and made his way towards paradise.

The JI emir said Israel and its guardians would pay the price for this cruelty.

"Israel's actions have put the world in new challenges, it is evident that this war will no longer be limited to Gaza," he said.

Ex-emir Siraj ul Haq expresses his grief

JI's ex-emir Sirajul Haq also condemned the incident and praised Hamas by highlighting their effort toward fighting Israel for the cause of Palestine's independence.

He addressed the Muslim world by saying that the Muslims needed to react effectively and must give a befitting response to Israel.

Haq further said dialogue was not the solution anymore and Israel must exit the Muslim territory.

"Israel is a terrorist who has occupied the Muslim territory. This is not the fight of Gaza or Palestine anymore but the fight of the whole Muslim world," he said.
