PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Pesco has lodged an application with police for registration of an FIR against KP MPA Fazal Elahi and 45 others for storming a grid station and forcibly restoring power supply, causing over Rs2.6 million financial loss to the company.

MPA Fazal allegedly entered Rehman Baba grid station and restored power to 10 feeders.

A video showing the MPA and dozens of other people forcibly entering the grid station has gone viral.

MPA Fazal claimed that Pesco and the district administration had given a schedule for loadshedding, but they did not follow their own schedule and did unscheduled loadshedding, causing great inconvenience to the masses.

He said he was forced to go to the grid station and restore the power supply.

The Rashid Garhi Sub-Division SDO has filed an application in Rehman Baba Police Station. The complainant alleged that MPA Fazal Elahi and Jameel along with 45 people stormed the Rehman Baba grid station.
